Alas...atlast

Hi guys, I wrote this poem on the last day of our college, i.e. 15th June 2006. The day we said adieu to the place where our dreams came into existence and we nurtured them to this day... when we all will go in different directions to fulfill our long preserved dreams.

At last …
The day has come …
The day to depart
The day to leave apart
Leaving memories behind
Keeping all pleasures aside…

All mischief that used to be in mind
The day has come
To leave that all behind …

The day to sew all memories with a new thread
The day to have new things in lead …

Time has taken a new route …
And with that , our life too .
From now on
We‘ll be starting our new lives
The life in which we are in lead
And no one to proceed…

A subtle sadness in the aroma
Putting new characters in the drama (of life)
Or new names to the old panorama.

Too heavy are these words
But lighter than
The feelings that we bore
in our hearts…

We left the place where we spent sleep less days ( no naps) in the classes and spent more time in the canteen and hostel than classes. I really miss those days n friends...

miss you guys...
